Have questions?
Does any plastic touch the water?
No. From filling to pouring, only stainless steel comes into contact with your water. There are no plastic water pathways or internal plastic components touching boiling water.
What capacity is the Ritual Kettle?
The Ritual™ Kettle has a maximum capacity of 2.5 litres, making it ideal for families, entertaining, cooking and larger households.
For everyday tea and coffee use, we generally recommend filling between 1–2 litres. This provides faster boil times, a more comfortable pour, and the best overall boiling experience.
For reference, many modern electric kettles have a maximum capacity of around 1.7 litres, so even when filled to 1–2 litres, the Ritual™ Kettle offers more than enough hot water for most daily needs.
While the kettle can hold up to 3 litres, filling beyond the recommended level may result in increased steam pressure and boiling water movement, which can affect pouring comfort and increase the likelihood of splashing.
Is the handle real wood?
No. The handle is made from premium heat-resistant nylon with a realistic woodgrain finish, giving you the timeless look of timber with the durability and practicality of a modern material.
Real wood looks beautiful, but on a kettle it can split, crack, expand or develop mould over time from repeated heat, steam and moisture. This gives you the warm timber look with better durability for daily boiling.
What stovetops is it compatible with?
The Ritual Kettle works on all stovetops, including induction, gas, electric and ceramic cooktops.C
Can I use it for camping or over an open flame?
Yes. The Ritual Kettle can be used on camp stoves and over open flames, making it a great companion for camping, caravanning and outdoor adventures.
Does the kettle whistle?
Yes. The all-steel whistling spout provides a classic whistle when the water reaches boiling point, and the integrated thumb lever allows for easy opening and controlled pouring.
